Cafe Belge Canterbury

If you fancy some great beers or mussels, then Cafe Belge Canterbury is perfect for you. There is a fun and family friendly atmosphere in this restaurant and has an impressive selection of European Beers and plenty of decent options for dinner. Located on St Dunstan's Street, near the Westgate, it's really easy to get to

Cafe Belge boasts the most fantastic range of Moules, 53 to be exact - one for every week of the year plus one! My personal favorite is the house moules, but if I am feeling a little decadent I would go for number 25 the Lobster Bisque with cream, tomato and lobster stock - yummy.

Cafe Belge

A Beer Lovers Paradise

To accompany your meal they also have the most incredible range of Belgium beers available, over 100 in fact. My Son in law who gets his favorite beer shipped down from Inverness is pretty fussy when it comes to beer, and he really loves the Baber Blonde Beer. However there is a vast range of dark, blonde, fruit, white, Lambiek, Pilsners and Trappist monks beers to suit your different tastes. So this really is a beer lover's paradise.

If a member of your party is not so keen on Moules there are some great alternatives available on the menu, including a great beef burger or a divine Scallop Salad, a favorite of my Son in Law.

This places gets booked up pretty quickly so I would say book well in advance so as not to be disappointed Tel: 01227 768222
