Tiny Tim's Tearoom, perfect for Canterbury afternoon tea

The English just love their tea, and in Canterbury afternoon tea is a must. You are staying in such a historical part of the country, where great Kings and Queens have walked, Saints been created and pilgrims flocked for years.

What better than to partake in what has become that quintessentially English of traditions, afternoon tea!

There are many places in Canterbury to stop a while and let the world pass you by, but there is one tearoom I really like to go with my daughter and granddaughter for that special afternoon treat and that is - Tiny Tim's Tearoom Canterbury afternoon tea It is the only traditional tea room in Canterbury and is decorated with sumptuous 1930's surroundings, but the surrounds are nothing when compared to their cakes.

Located in the Center of Canterbury, within sight of the Cathedral on St Margret's Street. Tiny Tim's offer a wide choice of breakfasts and lunches, all freshly made from local produce. Alternatively you can sample their afternoon tea selection, which is perfect as a late lunch or an early supper.

The tearoom is located in a building that is purported to be haunted by the ghost of three young children, who are known to move around items in the building and turn taps on. You can even visit the haunted room.

If this isn't really for you, then there is the possibility of sitting outside in their secluded courtyard; providing the English weather permits of course.
