Canterbury Attractions

Canterbury Attractions There are loads of Canterbury attractions and it really depends on what you are interested in. With a city steeped in so much history, you cannot fail to have lots of things to see and do. Canterbury Cathedral So to help you navigate through all of this, I have created my own mini guides on what I love to go and see, even though I live here. These are also the Canterbury attractions that I recommend to friends and family when they come and visit.

Each of the links below contain guides to my favourite haunts to visit.

Canterbury CathedralYou cannot come to Canterbury and not visit the Cathedral. It is still to this day my absolute favorite place in the city and it never fails to inspire me.

St Augustine's Abbey See the home of Christianity in England and a burial place of Saxon kings and Queens for years before that.

Canterbury Tales See these wonderful pieces of literature come alive in the city itself. A great place to visit for young and old and learn about these wonderful pilgrims' tales.

East Bridge Hospital Visit this wonderful historic building that has provided shelter to Canterbury Pilgrims for over 800 years

Canterbury Roman Museum See what the city was like hundreds of years ago with this great exhibition

There are more guides that I am in the process of writing, and I hope that what I share will give you some ideas on what to visit in this great city.
