Real Reindeer Encounters in Canterbury
Real Reindeer Encounters is an event that I have taken my Grandchildren to for the last couple of years. It has been held in the Rose Square area. With opportunities to stroke a reindeer or even
have photos taken with them or on Santa's sleigh, it's what memories are made from. I am trying to find out if it going to be on again this year.
There will, though, be a visit from 'Father Christmas' and his elf helper on the 11th December, so i remain hopeful. If it isn't going to happen in Rose Square, there are other opportunities to see Reindeer in the Canterbury area, so I might take the Grandchildren to one of the following: http://www.reindeercentre.co.uk/grotto.php . There is the chance to visit the Reindeer Grotto at Capralama Farm, Bethersden, (whcih is near Ashford). They have a herd of 100 Reindeer there and I know the kids will love it Rose Square is located in the Marlowe Arcade, Canterbury City Centre. |
